How does the B.Love 2-in-1 bead transfer work?
Babymoov says it takes 30 seconds but does not spell the steps out in writing on the pages we read. Two retailers describe it in two different ways, so count the video or manual in your box as the final word.
- Version one, a UK retailer: take off the patterned cover, unzip the inner pillow and turn it out to reveal a C-shaped inner pillow inside.
- Shake the beads across from the U-shaped inner into the C-shaped inner until they have all moved.
- Tuck the empty U inner inside the C, zip it closed, and put on the C-shaped patterned cover.
- Version two, another retailer: open the zip at the top, remove the cover and turn it inside out while spreading the filling evenly.
Either way, this is a sit-on-the-floor job, not something you do at 3 a.m. Pick the shape you will sleep in, and plan to change it once, after the birth. The German listing mentions two organic covers in the box, so keep both.

How does the B.Love XXL detachable section work?
The XXL is one full-body pillow with a section that zips off and becomes a smaller pillow, which Babymoov pitches for nursing after the birth. Nothing moves inside it.
Babymoov describes a cocoon-like shape that cradles the back and the bump, with flat, unpadded sections so your arms can rest. At 54 by 29 inches it is a big pillow, wider than half of a US full bed (27 inches per person) and close to half of a queen (30 inches).
One detail to confirm: the US maker page lists 100% polyester filling, while a Canadian retailer's copy also mentions ultra-fine microbeads. If the feel of beads matters to you, ask the seller which filling the version they ship uses.
